There’s no racism like fantasy racism. Like no racism I know.

In AD&D, it came on a table (of course) as to just how much hate your character came installed with. And true to its wasted potential, in run-of-the-mill SF&F fiction, alien/fantastic races usually wind up representing an “other” that the author wants to perform some fancy on. One that he could never get away with in naming human names to them. The fancy might be egalitarian. Or it might not. More on this come January 9th.
