February 1990 had one of our classic Valentine's Month episodes, the marriage of Yamara and Ogrek. Instead of a ring, Ogrek sealed their vows with the Headpiece of FriNn, a piece of "wacky jewelry" that bestowed ultimate power. We thought, 'How far can our lead character go, knowing and being able to do everything? Let's just have her trade in the thing.'
 
But the editorial staff set little store by such in-game altruism, and so we explored Yamara's frustrations of being a god.
